Keinan Davis looks set for a loan spell this January with Dean Smith reportedly giving the green light for the forward to gain some much needed regular game time.
The 22-year-old is yet to make a Premier League start for Aston Villa this season and has only been sparsely used by Dean Smith in his first-team squad.
Stoke are keen to take Davis to the Potteries to bolster Michael O’Neill’s attacking options for the second half of the season, as the Potters hunt promotion.
It has been claimed that Preston, Derby, Huddersfield Town and Swansea are also all looking at Davis as a potential loan signing in the ongoing window.
The attacker is keen to play more football in the latter half of the season and could be open to a loan move away from Aston Villa.
